Educational Credits offered at NAFTZ events
NAFTZ reviews and works with presenters to identify events that are eligible in offering Import (CCS), Export (CES), CPE credits for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and application credit for Accredited Zone Specialist (AZS) designation. Then goes thru the appropriate review boards in requesting event credit approval (NCBFAA for CCS/CES; NASBA for CPE credit and NAFTZ for AZS). Check individual event webpages for the status in offering such credits.
CPE credit is offered by NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy). While NAFTZ will produce the certificate, you must comply with your individual state regulations for credit.
Certified public accountants must earn Continuing Professional Education, or CPE, credits to maintain their CPA licenses. CPAs receive certificates of attendance that indicate the number of CPE credits, format of the CPE, and title and practice area of the CPE. All credits are subject to NASBA for review and application. For more information visit https://nasba.org/licensure/maintainingalicense/
