NAFTZ continues to raise awareness through more frequent connections with federal legislators and agencies. We continue this effort with our 4th “Virtual Fly-In” throughout the month of August 2024. With several active FTZ issues and potential FTZ legislation, this virtual fly-in is critical to our overall advocacy efforts. Talking points are available in the NAFTZ InfoHub (log in on our website above) or via link for download in your Fly-in registration confirmation.

All members are encouraged to attend as many of these virtual meetings as they wish. We especially encourage members from these legislators’ districts and/or states to participate in the meetings with their members of Congress – it makes a huge difference when we have constituents of the Congressional Member on the call – even if they only speak during introductions.
The Virtual Fly-in meetings are a great way to see what Congressional visits are like if you haven't participated before. Just let us know that you just want to sit in, and we'll only ask you to introduce yourself, your organization and your role, but we encourage all participating members to offer their relevant FTZ experience or story as they can or are comfortable doing.
